A part of me

There is a part of me that loves this...

Working a million hours at work,

Being so busy I could probably work without stopping for weeks

Coming in before the sun comes up, and going home at night.

I used to want to be a career woman.

It took up a whole lot of me.

I loved making Ideas turn into something.

I loved making money, being in charge, and telling people what to do.

When we got married this was a huge focus, almost too much.

And after I had Kaden I have been pretty good at keeping that part of myself in check.

And then I got a position at work that I love, and my husband doesn't exactly love.

Because as much as I try I always come back to needing to keep things balanced.

And as much as I love what I'm doing at work, it is nothing compared to this:
