We took a "Girls Trip" to St. George with my mom, Taylie, and the cousins. Three nights, many movies, and lots of food, shopping, and relaxing was just what we all needed.

DECEMBER

On December 18th we had our family Santa party. Taylie is probably the most serious baby ever. She wasn't even scared of Santa.

On December 24th we had our annual Christmas Eve Family party. This was the first year we had it at a church. At first everyone grumbled about it, but it turned out to be fun. We were able to play basketball and have a pinata for the kids.

Christmas Day!
This was the first year we had Christmas at our house. We think it's a new tradition. All other years since I was born have been spent at my parents house. This year we thought it would be fun for the kids to have Santa come to their house.

Oh, and I must add... the tradition of matching pajamas! Judd was sure a fan the year he spent christmas with us when we were dating :)

January 1st we had to get a picture before Jenny went back to New Jersey.

January 8th Judd wanted to take Kaden sledding. He loved it. It scared him but he sure is a fan.

My kids are getting so big.

I really really wanted to have my kids close in age because I thought they would be good friends. There have been times that I think this decision was a crazy one... but when they start to play with each other I know I did something right :)

Kaden has been a good big brother. When Taylie was first born, and for many months he didn't even give her a second glance... but now if she is playing in another room he'll say "where's sister?" and then he'll say " Sister play trains?" He likes to play trains with her.

Taylie is the most relaxed chill baby ever. So relaxed that she hasn't even shown interest in walking until recently. She was always pretty happy just sitting in one spot.

We called her "scooter" for a while because she took a long time to learn the real way to crawl. Instead she looked like a paralyzed baby that would drag her legs, and let her arms do all the work. She became a pro at the army crawl.

I'm ok if she takes a while longer to walk.
She's getting too grown up as it is :)

More updates later.

This didn't show up on my blog as updated :S...you forgot to mention how you were so excited to see your long lost sister after months and months of not seeing her. And that the reason Kaden didn't give sister a second glance was because every time he did...his mother said "no touch" :D
